The Mexico ASTRA club meets the first Thursday of each month at the Audrain/Montgomery County Red Cross Office in Mexico at 6 pm. They held their charter event March 5th. The group has already rung bells for the Salvation Army, helped our local Chamber stuff goody bags for the Santa Train and are planning to help with Mexico Altrusa Club's first ever Scrap Booking Event. The newly formed club is energetic, excited and busy planning additional service projects and fund raisers.

Altrusa is a community service organizaiton that espouses volunteerism, service, and fights for literacy. District Eight has 25 clubs in the four states of Arkansas, Kansas, Missouri and Oklahoma. District Eight offers an annual conference, workshops and training leadership for all members. |
